A downloadable game for Windows

Idle Internet is an Internet-themed clicker game where you must send packets to upgrade and expand your network. This game was created by Noah Gabryluk and Jacob Knox for CSC 3350 - Computer Game Design at Florida Southern College.

Windows will warn you because it is a .exe, but we have provided a ZIP of the exact game contents and this is a link to the GitHub for the project so you may inspect the code yourself for peace of mind. https://github.com/ngabryluk/Idle-Internet

Gameplay

  • Click the "Send Packets" button to earn packets
  • Save up for, and purchase, upgrades
  • Earn as many packets as possible!

Warnings

  • This was a student project, so it will likely not see any updates moving forward.
  • Progress is not currently saved between sessions.
  • Despite the simplistic gameplay, play testers described the game as "addicting."

The only issue I have is that I can't resize the window, this would be a good little phone game.

I made it so you can't resize it before exporting it because nothing resizes with the window at the moment so resizing would just lead to weird blank space. Appreciate the feedback, though.

I hope you can find a way to resize the window as small windows can & will bug me after some time. I end up not playing a game if the window isn't resizeable even if I like the game.
